Amazing fit, UPF a PLUS!
I'm not sure what all the poor reviews are about. As a very pale redhead living in Florida who fails at wearing sunscreen, this is about to save my poor skin when I frequent the beach. I wear a size 3 in Torrid swimsuits, purcashed a size 3 and it fits wonderfully. No skin pinching while zipping up, or down.

Amazing
Absolutely love this swimsuit! It's great for watermarks and outdoor pools. For the first time I did not get a sunburn. The material is fantastic and does feel like im wearing a shirt.

I love it!!
I bought a size bigger then I usually wear because I have a giant apron belly after I had my daughter and I just blew up so I have to get my tops a lot bigger and I have a long torso, I usually wear 3X-4x and I got the 5x I tried it on and I love it!! Very comfy not tight and I love the built in bra, I am a D and if definitely holds my breast up. If I had a lot bigger breast it would hold them in too. The zipper is awesome!! It doesn’t just zip down at all and if I wanted the top opened half way it would stay that way. I love the length of the sleeves too, they go over my wrist but I like that. I am going to get bottoms to cover my thighs, but if I was smaller and had nice legs I just wear it with no bottoms covers my butt well!! And the front isn’t tiny and it covers my areas! I am obsessed with mermaids and I think the color and patter is very cute! I can tell it will dry very fast once I’m drying off.

2nd suit as nice as 1st
This is my second long-sleeve one-piece swimsuit from Torrid. The first lasted me three years, with bi-weekly use. This one seems to be just as lovely as the last one, with a couple of improvements. I have worn it for an aqua-fit class, and it didn't move or come unzipped. I felt comfortable working out as hard as I could. I love the internal clasp at the chest; it makes zipping up easier (my previous suit didn't have one). The zipper also seems to be sturdier, and once it is in a locked position, it stays put.

Long sleeve swim
I love this swim suit ! It’s true to size , no need to size
Up on this one - I tried a size up and it was longer stay with your usual size - it’s perfect . I’m 5 foot 7
Tall and 205 pounds for reference size 2 is my size
In the swim dresses I take a 3 but that’s only because I don’t like skin tight swim suits - I will wear this all
Summer at the beach and pool!!!!

amazing + benefits
So thankful! I've been waiting for this exact suit to be released. I love the more "active" suits (while the bikinis and tankinis etc. are amazing and look great on others, for me I just have a different need). I love to really swim, and I also have a sun sensitivity so suits with sleeves are always something I look for, so I'm so happy when I see these long sleeve (or sometimes they come in a short sleeve variation as well). I purchased as soon as I saw it and any time I see Torrid release this swim suit I will buy because it's one of the only suits I can wear in the summer to both protect me from the sun, but also feel comfortable swimming. Not to mention it actually looks and fits well!

50+UPF is EVERYTHING
I am going to live in this this summer. I need that UPF+50 and love the front zipper so when I'm out of the sun I can feel a little sexy. I have an older version as well. I hope we get this in some amazing colours like hot pink! Whomever is in charge of bathing suit buys right now needs a raise. You're fabulous. Chef's kiss.

Nice, but different
This swimsuit is nice, but I don’t like it as much as the previous year’s suits of a similar style. There are definite differences. I LOVE the ones I purchased a few years back, and so I assumed I’d love this one just as much. Not so. I’ve included pics to compare the differences———
This one: A thicker, more neoprene-type feel
A locking zipper which is nice if you like to wear it partially
unzipped…the zipper is not lined, it’s exposed to the skin
A double stitched neckline
A nice addition of a cleavage support clip inside the
zipper which is so helpful in keeping your chest
supported so you can use both hands to zip up (really
nice for us chesty girls)
The older style: A smoother/softer quality swimsuit spandex feel
A thicker zipper that is fabric lined inside, which is
more comfortable against the skin….cannot be
worn partially unzipped, it will open completely!
It also has a fabric zipper cover up top to make it
more comfortable against the skin (like a baby
sleeper).
A flat, soft neckline
Reinforced stitching where the different fabric
panels meet up.
-The mesh interior lining is a bit more stiff/rough in the new one, but that’s understandable due to whatever fabric they can get their hands on at the time of production….its still comfortable.
-The biggest difference is the torso length…DO NOT upsize if you have a short torso. Buy your true size, or even downsize if you have a small chest too. The sleeves are also deeper and much longer in length.
I’d recommend this swimsuit to anyone that has a long torso 100% because it is nice quality.
For me it just didn’t work on my short torso/arms. The older style fit my shape/size better and is more comfortable. Also, the one they sent has a weird gap where the zipper doesn’t quite meet the fabric it was stitched into at the bottom of it. It’s not a deal breaker because it’s so small you won’t really see skin, but it just shouldn’t be so on a swimsuit at this price point!
*This one is the blue zipper one, and the black zipper one is the older style*

Torture Device
I bought this as a great option for aqua zumba. I tried it on. The zipper...this zipper caught my skin all the way back down as it raced back to the bottom. Then, when I tried to get myself out of it to tend to my wounds...I was stuck. I had to call for assistance.
It's going back.
