They aren't ready!
Bought these boots to wear with a long dress and let me just say that they were perfect! The fit my wide feet and stayed up on my calves (nearly impossible combination)! Love the color!

no reason you cannot slip them on and wear without any discomfort!
talk enough to accent your silhouette, and not make you loose your balance and look awkward! great footwear!

Glad I took the chance
Full transparency I took the chance of not getting these boots because I was waiting for them to get to a price I could live with. I had two concerns with these boots. The first is the heel height. I haven't worn any heel of measurable height in almost 10 years and I'm mobility challenged I use mobility aids to walk. The second was the amount of stretch in the shaft of the bootie. I'm glad I got them I ordered the tan faux suede ones first and loved the fit the stretch was perfect and with some practice I will be able to wear them if I don't have to do a lot of walking. Then I took the plunge and got the black faux leather ones because I had a vision of all of the looks I could achieve with them. All of that to say if you are on the fence get them anyway. These are wide foot and thick ankle friendly. These are not really for average feet and average or smaller ankles. If you have smaller to average width feet and ankles don't get these and then complain about them being too large. There are dozens of brands and retailers that cater to regular average and smaller widths and ankles. Torrid caters to larger curvier bodies in clothes and wider widths for shoes and thicker ankles and calfs for those people with larger bodies that other retailers and brands ignore. Torrid buyers please don't stop offering shoes and boots for wider widths thicker ankles and wide calfs. Especially in the trendy shoes and boots styles. This review is long I know but part of it had to be said. I am a loyal Torrid shopper. Specifically for the sandals, shoes and boots. I have wide feet but in addition to wide feet and wide calfs I have a chronic swelling disorder that with out Torrid I'd probably only own a couple pairs of shoes and no boots at all but I digress. Get the boots both colors if you can.
