Nothing Bad To Say…
Wow, just… wow. I bought a couple of these on sale on a whim. I was worried this would look old and give me Grandma muumuu vibes but I love them so much that I went back and purchased every available color and or print in my size. This camouflages all of my problem areas (talking about you, upper arms, flat bum and lower belly area!). If you’re an apple shape like myself, grab these while you can. They go with So. Many. Outfits!!! And they’re nice and light weight and breathable. I’m usually between a size 3-4 for tops. Bras 3 to 44D. A size 3 in this is perfect. Doesn’t add any extra bulk or make me look boxy. The material has a nice flow to your movements. I’ll get year round use from these bad boys, no question. TWENTY STARS!

Comfortable Kimono!
Just purchased and received this amazing Kimono. The material is light and amazing! Can wear any seasons! You can dress it up or wear casual. I will pair it will a pair of my black Torrid Bombshell jeans! Buy it! You won’t regret it!

I bought this on a whim never expecting to love it as much as I do. I was afraid this would give me grandma mumu vibes. I went out of my comfort zone and took a chance, figuring I could return it if I didn’t like it. I’m 5’ 11” and I love the length of these. I feel like so many of Torrid’s tops ( and pants for that matter) are always a few inches too short for my liking. Flowy, breathable and it doesn’t add bulk to my frame. I don’t like my upper arms and this helps to camouflage that problem area. I usually size up in most tops but my normal size 3 has more than enough room. I’ve bought two of these kimonos now and the size 3 is consistent between them. I’m happy that I didn’t size up in this case. As long as Torrid keeps making these, I’ll definitely continue to buy them. My only fear is that they won’t hold up in the wash well. I’ll have to see what happens. I literally received my package today and tried these bad boys on. Then I fell in love and had to write a review about it.

Favorite Kimono Ever👘❤️
I bought the first of this style kimono 6 months ago. Since then I've added 3 others prints to my cloest as well! ((One of those is on it's way to me now)) I'm a shorty and curvy in all areas 4'11" 174lbs 38DDD chest and unfortunately, I'm unable to wear heals. More often than not kimono style shirts can be extremely long for my short body and to get them to fit around my larger chest, sizing up is always a coin toss, but these Textured Chiffon Kimonos are perfect in every way. They sit just below my knees, just brushing my calves. My regular size sits perfectly on my chest and I can even pull it to overlap and close the gap if I wanted to! I never have to worry about this style kimono dragging on the ground, especially on a rainy day! And the colors are so much more vibrant in person than the pictures do them justice showing! I ever wear these around the house as a quick n easy cover up when there is a chill in the air and it always does the job! Keep the variety of prints coming Torrid! I will continue to stock my closet full of every print!!

Love this kimono
I've only had this kinomo for about 2 weeks and I've worn it twice already! I love the feel of it, it's so soft and thin! Perfect for layering! And it's very flattering! I got several compliments while wearing it!

These are my favorite throw on pieces. I love that I can switch up an outfit (and have a little more coverage) with one of these layering pieces. I got the plaid and I have a different print that was available over the summer. I would love to see more plaid colors (purple/black?), some more fun boho/witchy/goth designs would be nice too. I just saw they have it in solid black and will be buying one today. I purchased a 00 (normally get a 0/00 in any kimono/layering pieces), wouldn't mind if they had these a bit smaller as well. For size reference: 5'4, normally 1/2 in tops, size 2 in leggings (currently living in the wide leg vintage jeans size 16, almost to a 14), size 1 dresses/skirts

Summer Staple
Summer can be tough for me because I dislike my arms so much. (Working in it and them) and I tend to wear oversized T-shirts. I bought the orange one beginning of summer and it is so breezy it was like wearing a tank top. Since I have bought the feather pattern, the plaid (my fav!) and am so excited to see the black. One review mentions they are overpriced for the material. I hear what she is saying. The kimonos are thin and sheer. However, they fit is made to be flattering and not just swallow me like many kimonos. I actually look thinner and feel amazing! For that I will happily pay the sale price for.
