Rated 5 out of 5 by from A touch of Glam This is a beautiful dress! I ordered this for my daughter’s high school winter formal dance. Like me, she is short in stature only 4’11. I didn’t have time to shorten a dress with all the holiday plans. Being a loyal Torrid customer, I knew tea length should almost touch the floor at her height. The dress is gorgeous with just a bit of sparkle. The wine burgundy color is on the cool side of the color spectrum that looks lovely with her red hair. There is a bit of black threading along with the gold metalic running throughout the dress so we accented with black shoes, tights and shrug. It’s a perfect holiday dress that is comfortable, classy and festive. I love it so much I am considering the black for myself. Buy the dress, it’s beautiful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Comfy Shiny!! This is such a beautiful dress I got it in black and I love it! I bought it for a wedding that I’m attending and I can’t wait to wear it. It is a little longer than I wanted it to be but that’s ok I’ll get it hemmed up a bit, and it is a little bigger too. I probably could’ve ordered a size smaller and it would’ve fit perfectly but it doesn’t look baggy (if you know what I mean).

The red color is really pretty and as others have said, the metallic threading is not as stiff as you might expect. I'm 5'7" and it almost comes down to my ankles. The bodice is pretty stretchy, so you might be able to size down especially since the skirt is pretty flowy. The pockets are very sizeable for this kind of dress and could easily accomodate a cell phone, keys & small wallet pretty well.

I am highly impressed with the feel and quality of this dress! It's soft and flowy which surprised me in the best way. Similar dresses, with gold threading, can be stiff crinkle under your touch, but this was wonderful. The red is elegant and works well for the holidays, but for any semi-formal occasion as well. Highly recommend!
