Black Knee Boots
I purchased this in extra wide calf, size 10.5
They fit perfectly. The extra wide calf is 21.3" and tends to stretch or sag a little after wearing them for a while. No worries because I tucked my bombshell jeans in them. Nothing to complain about.

Calf Size is very “YMMV.”
So after all of the reviews on calf size, I decided to go with extra wide, and that was a mistake… these calves are WAY TOO BIG, but I could see how to wear them with jeans/long socks, so I’m not giving up on them. They are super comfy though. I bought a black pair too that I’m going to swap for the regular wide calf, which will be a better fit, but since I took off the tags on the brown pair, I’m stuck with them.

Finally
I’ve been looking for riding boots that fit my thick sexy calf’s (lol) I got extra wide, I have plenty of room for my jeans etc. I’m so happy I took a chance. Going to get another pair. Thanks Torrid. I’m a size 9 bought 9.5 extra wide to wear boot socks.

Adorable Boots!
My husband went ahead and ordered these boots for an early birthday present for me. ( With a little hint from
me!) I love the style and color but especially love the low heel!!!

Go down a size!
I had to place an order 3x times to get the fit right! I originally ordered my normal size in the extended wide calf. When they arrived the calf was WAY too big which is usually not the case to the point it looked silly. Long story short, I went down a full size from at 8WW to a 7WW and would suggest that you consider the same. Ps. I did try the regular width wide too, but those were too small.

Disappointed…
Disappointed with these boots… definitely looks cheaper/lower quality and the calf shaft is much larger than all my other torrid boots. I normally get the wide and it usually fits like a glove. These ones I can stick my entire hand down them. I bought these in both colors. The black looks better than the tan. Undecided if I’ll keep. If I had another option lined up I would return.

Huge.
I buy the Torrid riding boots every fall. I almost always go extra WW due to the size of my calves. I opted for the regular WW this time due to the measurement. Buyer beware - the upper portion of the calf is massive. Like, gaping. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Otherwise, comfy, and the foot portion fits well.

Narrower calf than normal
At first glance these boots are beautiful. They conjure images of fall leaves, cozy sweaters and flannels, and the return of PSL’s. I have a TON of torrid boots. I probably own 70% of the boots they have released in the last several years. I was thrilled when they added 6 and 6.5 to their line up because it meant days of heavy socks with a 7 were gone.
These boots have a lower instep than usual. Not a deal breaker but not ideal for my high arches. The big surprise came when I went to zip them up. I bought the extra wide calf because I have Very thick calves and these only zip about half way. This happened recently with their cowboy boots as well. All my other tall boots have no issue. I remeasured my calves. My right one was a 1/4 inch bigger than usual but my left is the same size it has been for a couple years. I’m not sure if some of these are getting mis labeled or if they are legitimately cutting them narrower. It is making me think twice about what I purchase.

Beautiful but too big!
Calf sizes are larger than stated. My calves are 18 but these were way too loose and gaping on my legs. I am glad I got last years boots. Still bigger than my leg but not as huge. Unfortunately I will be returning them:(

Ankle too narrow
I purchased 3 pair of boots during the 50% off sale. Im beyond disappointed that I could nor wear any. I wish I'd seen another review that said it's like the put a regular width ankle on a wide width calf. The calf of the boot would fit fine IF I could get my foot into the shoe. The ankle of these boots are just too narrow. I really thought Id found some boots for me but no luck. I really hope Torrid doesn't Start changing the width of their shoes to accommodate the folks that complain in the reviews about having to size down. They can literally purchase a regular wide width shoe or boot from anywhere. But Torrid has been one of the only places us truly wide width big foot girls can find shoes.
