Bolero Shrug
I purchased this to go with a dressier cami top as I have an upcoming wedding to attend, and I always need something to cover my upper arms since they're quite big and now even droopier looking since beginning to lose weight.
I really love that it's bolero style and meant to cover just the arms, shoulders, and upper back. There are so many regular shrugs and drape front cardigans available for those who want more coverage in the front, so to have something available that doesn't immediately hide the shape I feel comfortable showing again is great.
The fit is true to size in my estimation. For reference, I'm currently most comfortable in size 2 tops, 40 DDD (Torrid) bras, and ordered this in a size 2. You can see how the material and weave will stretch as needed in my pictures. The sleeves are not tight on my upper arms at all, and I can pull the cuff up to rest at my elbow comfortably since I'm not a fan of 3/4 length sleeves. It also feels roomy across my upper back and shoulders.
The garment itself is lightweight, but the material definitely helps you hold heat. I do run very warm and can tell it might feel a little oppressive in extreme heat, but I'll easily be able to use this shrug during more normal temperatures, including bitter New England winters.

3/4 Sleeve Bolero Shrug
I hesitated to order it at first based on the other reviews, but ordered it in a size 3 on a whim. I was happily surprised when it arrived and tried it on with a sleeveless tank top immediately: a perfect fit. What a beautiful piece to add to my wardrobe. The fit is not supposed to be across the bust, but rather a cover for shoulders, back and arms. While it is a thicker crochet stitch, it has a modern look to it and offers texture complementary to all fabrics. I wish it came in other colors but I have the black and it suits most of my short sleeved dresses and tops for which I need my arms covered. Love it!

Cute black knit shrug
Black shrug is a heavy knit but airy. It will do the job of helping in a cool office. I wish the sleeves were a little smaller on the cuffs. They are slightly on the wide side. I may try to take them in myself.

Nice but small
I wear a 0 or 00 in torrid shirts but I ordered this in a 2 and it fit just right. It's short which is how it's modeled but it runs not true to size. It is definitely 3/4 sleeves and my arms are short. I ordered it in a 3 and 4 too to compare. I haven't received them yet. Id recommend sizing up 2-3 sizes for a good fit.

This runs very small. I understand a Bolero is short but this is ridiculous for plus size. First off it is shown not on a plus-size/curvy model. It's cute but size up. I can wear a 3/4 I ordered a 6 and it fits like a glove. I agree with the other commenter. I was hoping for a staple but not sure what to do with it yet. I was disappointed as well.
