Gauzy comfy
This fit great. I love the color and fit, and that it has pockets. I was a bit worried about the length and being a pear shaped girly, but it fits perfectly.

First, I love the color! It's deep and rich looking and feels that way as well.
Fabric: It's a little weighty, but I work in a pretty windy area, so it should help to keep my hem in place. It is lined, which is appreciated as well.
Length: I'm 5' 2.5", so it hits right at/slightly below the knee, thankfully, as I prefer to hide the thighs, lol.
Fit: I purchased a 1 (I usually buy size 2/18-20), because I'm smaller chested, and it was the only size that might fit which was available at the time, lol. It fit perfectly, and the sleeves are great.
Bonuses: pockets! Thank you, designers for always finding a way to include functional pockets while maintaining the style of the garment! Keep up the good work !
Versatile: it's a good transition piece depending on how it is styled. Leggings and shooties? Hello fall. Jacket, knee high boots, with fleece-lined leggings? Cute for winter!
Opaque tights and sneakers (water-proof in this part of the country) or cute rain boots? Bring it spring!
Conclusion: I'm buying a second one for when I wear this one out :-)

I normally do not like square neckline, but had to buy this because was reduced price and I love the lace pattern on the chest. Happy I bought it! Square neckline on this dress somehow doesn't look bad on me, and the dress will be great for fall (it's thicker than the super soft dresses, for example, but not SUPER thick by any means). Love it. I don't even have back fat in it which is a plus (maybe it's hidden by the thicker material, idk!)

Pretty, yet comfy!
Love these dresses from Torrid! True to size, smocked back pulls it in for a nice shape, lined so the gauze floats nicely away from the body. It's prettty, yet comfy. As always, thank you for the discreet pockets! Another win for my collection. I'm 5'9", 210lbs, wearing size 1.

Polyester strikes again
I really wanted to love this dress. The color is a blue/teal, the fit is amazing, it’s super comfortable…. But it’s gauze with a polyester lining. I live in the desert and cannot do polyester linings- the heat makes it unbearable. Torrid, PLEASE use any breathable material for your linings- ESPECIALLY in dresses for summer. Literally the only reason I’m returning this is it’s too sheer without the lining and does not breathe with the lining. It’s an absolute perfect dress otherwise. If you live in an area that you can tolerate polyester in I’m sure this dress will be perfect.

This dress fit was perfect except for the sleeves. The sleeves are huge. They are way bigger then the pictures online. The only thing that made me not send it back was I love the color. I can did the sleeves, I wish I didn't have to.
