LOVVVVVE this skirt fit!
I got this striped skirt on clearance in store (in 2 sizes because clearance & I fluctuate sizes) as I already owned the top from last year & tried it on even though the skirt is shorter than I usually go for at almost 40 & 5’10 tall. But - it’s so so good! The fit is so perfect for the coordinating crop, like they were just made for eachother. While I feel the top is more cropped than I wanted with jeans, it’s incredible with this truly high waisted skirt. Minimum skin showing. Don’t have to show any at all even, I like it. The skirt shape is fitted in appearance but very loose, I have a very loose hanging lower belly that I wear shapers for post c section & major weight gain & loss daily, always which sucks in summer when it’s hot - this fit is so nice I don’t even need much, just smoothing undies work fine which is great because girdles can’t be tricky with exposed midriff. I would buy this set in other colors & kicking myself for not getting the black skirt when I have the top.
I got a 0 & 1 (what I typically wear - 1 in pics because I am more in my 1 bottoms now) but a 00 top, which is what I’m wearing in photos. It looks great with just a black tank & flip flops for a more casual look too. It’s such a great fitting skirt (& set)!
Please Torrid make this set again - please please! Just as this was with separates for those of us who wear a diff size on top & bottom.

This is not something I would’ve ever ordered but I liked the whole outfit and how it looked on the model so I took a chance and I am so glad I did! I got the set. I am typically a size 2 bottoms is torrid but ordered size 2 and 3 because I wasn’t sure. The 3 was fine but I like a more tight fit and the 2 was definitely tighter and a much better fit for me. You can definitely see my belly more since it’s a tighter fit but that’s just how I like it. I feel like it’s hugging me in all the right places and fees more secure. I got the top in a 3 since its a crop top I thought getting it a size bigger the length would be longer. I’ll never know because I didn’t get the 2 to compare but it fit ok. I think the 2 could’ve been better but it is what it is. I like that you can wear this set separately as well. For reference I am 5’3” and 285lbs. I have huge arms and this covered them up but didn’t make them feel like balloons if you have big arms you know what I mean lol. Definitely recommend. Even if it’s not your style. Try it

Linen skirt
I typically stay away from linen but with this being on clearance & simplistic cuteness, i wanted to try on & certainly surprised how i loved it.
I ordered the matching stripe top but since it wasn't avail i tried on the blue linen version to get a idea of how much tummy would show/protrude & got happier with how i looked.
I also tried on with a foxy tank and i can see this would be flattering as well (with a better bra)
For reference im 5'7 wearing a sz 4 in tank & skirt & 5 in blue top (which was to big)

Great Skirt Set!
This skirt is sooo cute and flattering. There are two crop top options and they both look great with the skirt. The skirt also looks very nice with a denim top or white top. Great versatile vacation/summer clothing.
