It's comfortable, hangs well on my body type, and has just the right amount of colour and design for me. I usually wear it over a shirt of some sort, and I love having the pockets handy. I've been wearing this dress every now and again for the last 2 years and still get compliments on it.

Velvet Green Skater Dress
The fabric looks and feels beautiful, nice and soft. The consistant design and fit of this style midi skater dress in different patterns that Torrid has been offering over the years are truly fantastic! This is wearable winter, spring and fall. Adjustable straps are perfect. Thank you for that Torrid! The length hits mid calf at 5" 7' which I love. The colors are still very vibrant after quite a few wash and wears. I launder on delicate cycle, delicates bag, by itself. Lay flat to dry, and it drys very quickly! Huge plus! No pill, no lint, no shrinkage. That goes for all the different patterns made of this specific dress that I own and love wearing.

I kept seeing this dress online, and had it in my cart multiple times, but chickened out. I finally got the courage to get it, and I am not disappointed. The dress is heavy, but strapless, so maybe not good for a hot day, but great for any other day. Can dress up or dress down. Looks cute regardless.
I am 5'4. I normally wear a size 1, and this is a size 1.

I bought this dress for my 50th wedding anniversary. I loved it but thought it was just a tad too big so I was going to exchange it for a smaller size. I ended up returning it because I saw another velvet dress that I fell in love with. Otherwise I would have kept this one.
