Rated 5 out of 5 by from I felt gorgeous I would recommend getting two sizes larger. I went one size up and had room however, the empire waist gets lost on the chest. If you're a DD or more highly recommend the large sizes. One probably wasn't enough for me but I was not able to exchange in a timely manner. I felt gorgeous. The dress is beautiful and timeless. I'm normally a 22, ordered 24, but be aware- she's busty lol

I was comfortable and the customer service at Torrid was great! The dress does run small about 2 sizes. I had to exchanged and the process was painful and really fast.

It’s very long so I will definitely have to get it hemmed (I am 5’5”) since it’s hard to walk in at the length it is now, but overall I’m very happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a gorgeous dress! This is such a beautiful dress! I bought it while it was on sale, and I don't feel worthy of it lol. I got it so I could dress up as a character from Bridgerton for Halloween this year (the sale was really good). I opened it up and the whole experience with this dress was thoughtful. It comes in this fancy packaging with a heart warming message that's meant to inspire you on your special day (kind of makes me want to find a Mr. Right so I can have a better reason to own this dress). Above all else, this dress will make you feel like a goddess. It's flattering and made with thicker, durable materials. It's got sheer sleeves, but the rest of this dress is not see through. I tried it on wearing black undergarments and couldn't see my bra through the top part of the dress. I would also say it's true to size. You might need to get it hemmed if you're on the shorter side of life, though. I'm 5'3" and a size 16 is a few inches longer than I'd like it to be if this were treated as a maxi dress (I don't know if you're supposed to judge the length of a wedding dress differently). It might work out if you intend to wear heels with this dress. Just something to consider if you are interested in getting this dress.

If you're looking for a dress to evoke a Regency-era ballroom type-feel but with modern fabrics and cuts, look no further. I am a size 20, about 5'6, and relatively stout, and it fit perfectly in the bust and waist, if about 6 inches too long at the hem. If you're a shorter bride, you may wish to have it hemmed. I could have worn heels and solved the problem, but I refuse to wear heels on my wedding day. My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of pockets (or a singular pocket)! Still happy with the dress, even without them!

I bought this for a formal cruise dinner and it’s going to be fabulous but it is very heavy like a real wedding dress should be. It’s not uncomfortable with the weight of it at all, it’s just very substantial.

I bought this mainly because we were doing a designation wedding and I couldn’t find anything to fit my breast without having to get the waist taken in so much! This was BEAUTIFUL and perfect! It was float and honestly I was blown away by how perfect it was!
