Velvety goodness
I bought this dress in a random Torrid haul and put off trying it on until I needed to get ready for a friend’s winter wedding. I felt so comfortable and absolutely beautiful in this maroon-ish, velvet dress that it was the clear winner for the wedding. Would love to see it in a deep blue/navy as well but for now, I’ll stay rocking this gorgeous dress.

Lovely fit. The velvet is so soft. Perfect for company holiday party. Tons of compliments. Found a purple crystal necklace on Amazon that added a touch of sparkle to the outfit. Pockets definitely a plus. Bought normal size 2. I'm 5'8, size 20 jeans, 42D. Hugged my curves on top and flowed over my bottom half wonderfully.

Pretty velvet dress
This dress is awesome! I wore it to an event last night and received many compliments. The pockets are fantastic and deep. Color is beautiful. I’m 5’4” and it was just the right length. I think if you’re shorter it would drag on the ground though, so beware of that.

My favorite maxi style!
This is the third maxi dress I've purchased from Torrid this year of this particular style (though the first was without the flutter sleeves). I love this style so much! It's gorgeous, it's comfortable, and available in such beautiful colors and prints. I saw this wine velvet color and thought it would be a great Christmas dress, so I purchased it for that occasion, but I'm sure I'll be able to find more reasons to wear it at some point! I'm 6 ft 1 and the dress is a great length!

So comfortable!!!
This dress is just beautiful! It is perfect for a holiday party or event. It is also very soft and stretchy making it so comfortable to wear. It is hard to find dressy and beautiful and super comfy in one dress but this one does it. It is warm and has some weight to it also.

Buy it but watch the size
I sooooooo wanted to love it! I’m between a 2 and 3 in everything at Torrid. Ordered a 2 and the boob area was too small for my 42 F gals. Tried a 3 on in store and the waist was too low to look right. 5’7 290 big ole booty. So beautiful and great quality but sadly not a good fit for me

Absolutely Gorgeous
Simply stunning on! I love the flutter sleeves, and the waist is super flattering and hides my belly. I’m 5’3 and 210 lbs, I got a size 1 and it fits perfect, even length wise which is never the case! I ADORE this dress and can’t wait to wear it.

Color Shape Shifts!
Adding another review with more photos if Torrid allows me. Depending on the lighting, this dress changes color, I swear! I included a photo of the dress in natural daylight and then indoors under warm lighting. It’s a gorgeous color and amazing fit. Highly recommend. And would love it in other colors!

I adore this dress!! I have a couple others in this same cut & when I saw a velvet version... take my money!!
The fabric drapes beautifully & has a bit of stretch. And it has pockets.
The color online reads burgundy to me, in person its far more purple but still lovely. 💜
Torrid - please make this cut in a midi too. Its so gorgeous and the flutter sleeves are perfection.
