I’ve never had this type of high boots, because of my wide calfs and my wide feet, and I really wanted it to work, but unfortunately the ankle was too tight, so I had to return them,

Cute, but
Cute, but I should've read the reviews. I'm normally an extra wide calf gal & these are too wide. I re-ordered in wide calf and hope they'll work because I love this look so much that I got them in both colors!

Great boot, big calves
I’ve really loved this boot. I really wanted it to work but the calves part are too big. I wish they’ll make wide width shoes with normal size calves. Almost all of their shoes fit big at the top on me. I’ll be returning

Love a taupe boot & heel!
Love the heel on these. I not like super tall heels and prefer 2” (and 2” over a flat boot). The taupe color is nice. It is cooler toned than what the picture shows but I like it. Nice neutral. I was worried about the fit of these. The wide calf measurements were a bit larger than other torrid boots I’ve bought in the past. I’m an 8 but usually get 7.5 in tall boots but I went down to a 7 with the concern of the dimensions. They fit my 16.5” calf fine. They open up a little more at the top but not extreme, still hug calf nicely. Feels a little snug in the ankle but with the straps at ankle I think it pulls a little but was fine once I zippered up all the way. The foot itself fits my feet perfectly even going down a whole size.
I am short 5’2” with longer torso, so these boots fit me higher on my legs. Right at knee (I think why the little bit of open top looks fine on me). I do like how tall they are except when I sit lol. But I can deal with that. I like that there isn’t a huge stretch panel. Will keep these and consider the black.

Ehhh... they're okay
I'm keeping them just because I don't want to deal with a return. My normal size in other brands is a 9, so I went with an 8 since Torrid runs large. My foot fits fine, but the ankle seems pretty narrow. My ankles are slightly larger than "average", but definitely not "cankles" and these were almost too tight, I'll definitely have to wear very thin socks with these. I purchased in widecalf, and again I do have "widecalfs" but they're not that large, extra wide calf is usually huge on me, fortunately my wardrobe is 98% dresses because there isn't very much room to tuck a pair of jeans into them. I'm also not crazy about the color in person either, I wish I would have purchased black instead, and I would have purchased an 8.5 LOL. But on a positive note they are very comfortable, and for us short ladies (I'm 5'4") they're perfect height, hitting just below the knee!

Just ok for me!
Ordered my usual 7.5 in a wide calf. My calves are 16.5 for reference and the wide calf fits perfectly. However, they are tight around the ankle which causes slouching huge at the top of the knee. Somewhat disappointing.

Wanted to love these
I wanted to love these. I ordered these in my normal size (9) and they fit as far as the shoe size went but that is where the fit stopped. The calf of the boot is extremely large, the ankle bulged out like I wasn't filling it out enough. I didn't even do the extra wide calf! As you can see, in the picture I am wearing the boots over jeans that are kinda loose and there is still lots of space. I have knee high boots from Torrid and have loved the fit of each and every pair but these stuck out in the back almost 3" and would have looked ridiculous. I could have fit a small cat in the space leftover. So I did go online and look at the measurements (which I should have done to begin with) and compared them to other boots currently out. These are a 19" circumference compared to the ones I am about to exchange these for which are 18.3". So, just be sure to check your measurements before buying. Outside of my complaints, I really liked the way these looked. I just hate I used the last of my Torrid cash to buy them. Really hoping the store will credit it so that I can get the boots with the smaller calf size. In the picture I am wearing jeans that are kinda loose and there is still lots of space.

Cute but tight
The boots are super cute but the extra wide calf is still tight on me and I usually only need wide calf. The ankle part of the boot is also very tight. I am going to half size up if possible and see how it goes.

No Way These Are Wides
Giving 2 stars only because I love the look of these. They fit my foot perfectly, but even though I ordered an extra wide calf, which is usually very loose on me, these would not zip past my ankle. I can usually fit in regular wide calf, but I like the extra space for jeans etc, but there's no way even the extra wide width in these is even wide at all. My daughter fit these perfectly and she's a very petite ballet dancer who does not at all have wide legs. I am returning these, very bummed that they do not fit my calf.
