Way too big
I actually had the exact opposite problem of the other customer. These shorts were huge! I'm usually a 3-4 in Torrid pants/panties, so I ordered a 4 (thank God I didn't order a larger size) and I was still swimming in these shorts. Even tightening the elastic band all the way with the drawstring, there was a big gap in the waist (and I have a decent size tummy) and these shorts overall were wayyy too big and pretty long (I'm 5'9" and you can see from the photo they're almost at my knee). I would recommend sizing down. Other than that, they had a cute print. Not worth $40 though - buy on sale.

Ughh
They are soft. The material is cute. Where these lounge shorts fail is the waistband! It has no stretch and it is terribly uncomfortable! Idk what been up with Torrid, but I miss the old styles where it didn't cut the waist and then have huge legs. Maybe this style will be better for pear shapes. Apple shapes be 'ware!
