Snug fit
The belt is pretty, I wish I read the comments before buying because it is indeed snug, tight fitted, I'm a 3x and wish I ordered a 4x. But that's my fault for not paying attention. I will probably be able to wear it down another 15 or 20 lbs. But all and all, it's pretty but snug so just keep that in mind

It was just what I needed. I wore it with a linen pant suit that needed a little something. I ordered a size bigger and I’m glad I did. I didn’t wanted it to be to tight. Very classy looking and I will definitely be Wearing it with some of my dresses

TRULY one of the most flattering belts I've ever purchased. Usually I have buyer's remorse buying wider belts because I feel like unless I'm standing all the time, they don't work as they will twist of flip. This is great, it stays put.

Very cute but size up x2!
I’m very glad I read the reviews prior to popping on this. I love the look of this belt but folks said that it was cut very small, and they were right! I’m a 3 right now and I ordered a 5 and it’s definitely fitted, hitting right under my chest like an empire waist, which is the smallest part of my torso. The ‘stretch’ elastic is tight, which is good so it won’t stretch out easily over time, but it also doesn’t provide much give for sizing. It has a slide on clasp (pic attached) which makes it easy to put on and secure. But DEF size up 2 sizes.

This belt is so so cute and I cannot wait to accessorize with it. BUT I will say that it runs pretty small. I am usually a size 3….sometimes a 2. I definitely had to return and order the size 4, which is still kind of snug…but I will make it work.

Normal size for me
I normally wear a size 1, but I sized up to a 2 per reviews. However, I found it too be too loose to stay in place and a ordering a size 1. Here are some tips: Consider where you plan to wear this belt on your body. If you wear this belt on you lower waist, I can see where sizing up just one size would be a good idea. If you wear it up higher, your regular TOP size should work. Consider your body type and if you plan to place it on a thicker or thinner portion in comparison. I understand why there's confusion because everyone is different, and there's no way to adjust this belt. It is a cute style though!

Size up, but not too much
Went up two sizes based on other reviews and it was a bit too large. I normally wear a 2 or 3 (18 or 20) in pants so I bought this in a 4. Good news is that there is seam in the elastic that could be taken in by someone who knows what they are doing, which is not me, so I used safety pins to make it smaller in a pinch. Does a lot to elevate dresses and offset a waistline that might be a little too high to be flattering (something that happens to me a lot with Torrid dresses for some reason). Kind of gave a few pieces in my wardrobe a new lease on life and I’m here for it.

I would recommend going up a size if you don’t want it to be too tight. I went up two and returned it to go back down one.

Cute but *small*
I normally wear a 2 in torrid belts but noticed that the elastic on the belt seemed short in the photos and ordered a 3...glad I ordered a size up but could have even gone up to a 4 on this belt as the 3 still fits snug. Size up on this one ladies! Up one size for snug, two if you like a comfortable ease to your belts.
