LOVE IT!! But def size up
This was the first thing I wore from my order and it has instantly become one of my favorite clothing items. So far, it looks super cute with leggings and miniskirts, but I think it's versatile enough to really go with anything that's fitted.
I definitely recommend sizing up. I'm 5'6", about 260lbs (with a lot of upper body muscle and decently wide shoulders). I wear a 2 in almost everything (sometimes I get a T-shirt shirt in a 1), but I bought a 3. I do this basically with EVERY outerwear or shawl type item that I buy from Torrid.
P.S. I put it on the first night because I was chilly, but just, like, a little chilly? It was VERY good for light-weight warmth.

Get it!
I’m not usually one for the cardigan look, I’m also not usually one for the Ruana boxy silhouette, but I am a sucker for the knit apparel, so I ordered it since I had some torrid rewards to use. I’m so happy I got this! It has a sort of “batwing” effect to the cut which helps eliminate that boxy-ness and I love the knit design, which makes it stylish and light. It really goes with anything, although I wouldn’t expect it to keep me warm in the fall and winter, it’s perfect for the spring, summer, and temperate fall days.
It’s nice to dress up and down with, it’s just one of “those” articles of clothing. It was true to size, it’s a Ruana so it’s not meant to be tight and it’s meant to be big and flowy. Arm length ranges from longer than a tee shirt to 3/4 sleeve (depending how far stretched out my arm is), which I feel the 3/4 sleeve is pretty typical for Ruana/kimono.
As far as price point, I paid with torrid rewards but I’d have been happy paying the sale prices torrid typically offers on it. I sadly haven’t had it long enough to speak to the quality of repeated washes that knit clothing sometimes runs into, but I’m hopeful since it’s so cute, I want it to last!

Sleeves aren’t very long, I ordered my normal size. Soft and airy - good for spring summer / fall until it gets too cold :)

Not so great quality
I want to believe that I have a 'one-off' poor quality item. I have to fix the edges as they are trying to unravel, after NOT being worn and washed on delicate with appropriate item that would not harm the garment. If you want to charge me more for better quality, I'll happily pay the price.
As for the style/design, I love it. It may help to show the garments on a few models or with a design note on how to wear the garment if you have this or that shape. When it comes to overized or shapeless items, a lot of factors are at play to allow different builds to shine and not end up looking frumpy or blobby. I paired this with a belt going through the arm openings, leaving the back loose, but the front more defined in shape to help me visually bring in my waist more. But like I said, that's not the solution for everybody's body shape, but an example of how to help customers like their garment AND body a bit more (just a thought).
But seriously, back to the main point, not a great quality item, so it ends up not being worth it. If I wash or wear it without fixing it, I'm afraid it'll just be a hot ball of black thread/yarn.

Not as pictured
I ordered this piece based on how beautiful the photo is, the piece I received looks nothing like this. This item shows a beautiful pattern, what I received is nothing close to as pictured. The price was high but I was willing to pay based on how lovely it looked. I will be returning, One item not worth the price, Sad because I love almost everything I purchase form Torrid.
