I was expecting a lightweight cheap fabric, but it was heavy and felt great. The fit was also fantastic - definitely made for curves!

Gorgeous!
The fabric is lovely (best looking of the Torrid wedding dresses I've seen so far -- it has a nice sheen to it), and it's a flattering style. Size was as expected. It looks especially good if you add a shiny beaded belt.

I bought this dress thinking that it was going to be a bust. I'm getting married in March and wanted something elegant, but without lace. As soon as I saw myself in this dress, I cried. I knew it was the one I wanted to walk down the aisle with. I'm a very loyal customer and this only added more love for your company. I live in Farmington, NM and let me just tell you, Alyssa is THE BEST voice any woman could ever ask for!

Inexpensive beauty!
I bought 4 Torrid wedding dresses to try on for my (last minute) Halloween wedding. This was my favorite from the photos, but I didn't expect it to work for my body type. I'm 5'4", 215lbs, and heavy around the midsection. I bought a size 18 and it was SO comfortable and flattering!! The only alterations I'll be needing are some hemming and Spanx. This dress is definitely worth a try on if you're having doubts. (Bad) Pictures of me in the dress included for reference.

This dress is stunning in person. It is so well made, I was very impressed. But...I’m 5’2 and it was just too long and didn’t fit quiet right. I didn’t have time to take it to a tailor and even if I did, it probably would have cost a pretty penny. If you’re tall or have time for tailoring do not hesitate to order this. Torrid made returns very easy as well. I shipped it back for a $6 deduction. I ordered two others from torrid to try on which I returned to the store which easy, and will provide a faster refund. Order it, you have nothing to lose.

An easy "say yes to the dress"!
My wedding is in October 2020 and being a Covid-19 bride this year I was not able to go "traditional" dress shopping. Honestly I didn't even know Torrid had a bridal section until I was browsing the website. I took a risk and ordered this dress to try on in attempt to have some sort of "normal" dress experience....and WOW. I fell in love with this dress. It's so soft and elegant. I was very surprised how much I loved it. It has some stretch and isn't too heavy or restricting. I made a little home made sign and I'd say it was an easy "say yes to the dress"!!

Elegant Classic Wedding Gown
I bought this gown as a back up to my first gown chosen. This gown is very classic but different than the usual off the shoulder wedding gown. It does run smaller in sizes. The depiction of the dress doesn't do it justice. It actually looks more elegant than the picture. It rivals the gowns that i tried on at David's Bridal. What is even more special is the little something blue tag sewn in the gown. It is absolutely charming, lovely and graceful. It sister says it looks like something out of the 40's. Very beautifully made! I was surprised not expecting this.
