They are not too loose and definitely no where near tight. I bought the wide calf and was nervous but I have sooo much room to wear whatever kind of sock

I had only been able to find a pair at that shoe store with 3 letters, but now I have another source. I might just buy another pair as my backup, just in case! Thanks for making an affordable boot that fits those of us on the larger calf range. FYI - I also had success with the clean riding boot if you have larger calves and these are sold out.
