Muumuu love!
First things first, this dress is very loosely fitted, so think of it as a knee length muumuu. Even if you size down, the waist is *not* cut to nip in and accentuate it, so if you aren't looking for something llke that please be warned! The sleeves also aren't as long as pictured, as they extend to the middle of my forearm at best, but that's okay with me. The elastic gathers will keep them in place if you want to wear them at your elbows, which gives this dress more utility as an everyday wear item IMO. I deliberated over returning this for nearly a month because of its shapelessness, but it's so comfortable and breezy that actually wearing it won me over - it's absolutely one of my favorites now, and I own an obscene number of Torrid dresses. This is not a cut I'd normally choose as it isn't doing my figure a lot of favors, but it's comfortable enough to throw on with minimal effort, cute enough to not look sloppy despite the relaxed fit, and conservative enough with the lace up neckline to be highly versatile. I purchased the black with roses version and I have worn this to the beach, over some tights with nice shoes to dinner or to work, around the house, and to go run errands. The fabric is soft and breathable, and so far it's washed well on gentle cycle with hang drying. If you are between sizes, I recommend going with the smaller size. I am 5'6", 250lbs, 42F, and a size 1 fit me just fine with adequate bust space.

Favorite dress!
This dress looks good in pics, but even better on in real life! it fits really well in all areas - arms are nice and loose, it's flowy, covers all areas, but still is attractive.

You did it again, Torrid!
I bought this dress the second it was available because I just love the design. It fits flattering, there's no stretch, so keep that in mind, and washes well. I use Downy wrinkle releaser, so no ironing needed! Perfect lightweight dress!

This is the cutest dress. I just had surgery and can't wear pants. So glad I can wear this and feel pretty! I got my usual size 1 and it fit perfect.

Feel of Fall
I've loved a bunch of the Torrid Medallion dresses for a long time and have never been able to ahold of a lot of them because they were so popular, so I was thrilled that I was able to snatch this one up. I'm like 5 ft. nothing and depending on the style, cut and fabric of the dress I usually wear between a 1 or 2. I chose the size 1 because I have a lot of other challis dresses in similar styles so I knew it would probably fit similarly if not exactly the same. I was right, overall it fits great with no pulling or tugging anywhere and I can sit comfortably in it as well. I love that the arms are slightly oversized (since it's my problem area) for a more dramatic look and I absolutely love the ruffle at the bottom (pictures don't do it justice). It hits right at my knee or a tiny bit past it which is perfect since the ruffle will add to the drama of the dress and will give movement when I'm walking. I love that the colors are also perfect for fall and light enough to carry into spring and early summer. I can see wearing my ankle boots or my pump sandals with this dress. Can't wait to wear this out.

Maybe runs a tad big
Super cute dress . I bought this on a whim, and I'm glad I did. As of now, there's no other reviews, so I was worried about the fit. I've lost 56 pounds, and I was a 3, and recently 2s have been big on me, but this dress has no stretch to it, but I held my breath and ordered a 1, and it fits beautifully!!!! It may run a little big if I was to make a judgement call. I paired it with a belt, because it was a tad big. It has pockets, and I think it's a little shorter. I'm 5'7", and it's definitely above the knee. It's a non- stretch rayon fabric, so it does wrinkle pretty easily. You'll have to iron it for sure. I hope this helps anyone considering this dress. I really like it.

The pics are misleading
It’s actually got 3/4 sleeves, not long sleeves like the photos. Also, it doesn’t come in at the waist at all, it balloons. It’s more like a babydoll style. I’ll probably still wear it with leggings underneath.

Huge in the waist
I ordered this dress and loved the color and pattern.. super cute! I ordered my usual size and the top fit but the waist is sooooooooo large two of me would have room in there. That was disappointing.. I returned it. I thought of reordering a smaller size but it sounds like others also experienced the weird waist .. it’s just strangely large and too flowy .. Super unflattering!

Had to return.
Got this a size smaller then my usual size. Since I've been losing waight. Was 2 sizes to big.
Torrid has gone way down in size consistency.
I went to to return it to the store. They wanted to refund to my card and then me pay for another one before my refund went back to my account. No thanks.
