Fun costume
I like it perfect for fl hot weather even on Halloween I didn’t think it was see through. Fits perfectly. Is stretchy and comfy I just wore skin colored shorts underneath so wasn’t an issue for me.

I absolutely adore this dress! My wedding anniversary is Halloween and I plan on wearing it out to dinner that night! I don't know why it has negative reviews. To me, the fabric feels like the super soft material. The neckline is super flattering and there are pockets! I really couldn't be happier with this dress.

Great Costume Planned !
First time seen knew had to have this dress!! wearing it w/ The fishnet tights making a nurse's cap got the spider ear web to wear from TORRID also! I appreciated the reviews, found my dress to be a heavy"" hope it;s not hot material!"" hits slightly short, so glad for the size 6 !!! the top gaps slightly at sides, but it's a costume, not a dress up for dinner dress!!

Spooktacular! This dress is on the thinner/lighter side but being in Fl I appreciate that. The dress itself feels really good. I don’t intend to use this as a Halloween costume but as a spooky dress in the mths of Sept/Oct. but it could make a super cute costume. The shape of the dress is really flattering and falls well. Glad I got it.

Okay, I purchased this online last week when there was no reviews. I was super scared seeing these reviews pop up. I had the dress shipped to the store. Today I took my lunch break from work and tried it on. As you can see, it’s not see through. I am wearing a Torrid bright pink sports bra and bright pink underwear in the picture. The picture was taken in the Torrid dressing room under fluorescent lighting. I didn’t see anything through it.
It is a polyester dress. It’s just like someone mentioned made out of the moisture wicking type material. It fits true to size. Not see through. Is a novelty type dress to wear to parties and Halloween and such. It does have solid construction.
I’m happy with the dress. It would have been nice to have it made from a different material like cotton to some extent, but that’s my only criticism.

Not sure why people are hating on this dress. This is such a cool dress, and super comfortable. The material is not cheap, thin or see thru. This material is the same type of material that is used in exercise clothing, the tag says it is 96% polyester and 4% spandex. It has the feel of exercise moisture wicking material. It is very soft and super comfortable. It looks great and I wore a black bra and black pantyhose under mine and you could not see thru it at all. This is one of the best fitting, best looking, and most comfortable dress I have purchased from Torrid.

As other reviews state, yes the material is on the thin side. I wouldn’t exactly call it “cheap” material, but it is a Halloween costume dress as opposed to a “normal” dress. Definitely not Torrid’s Super Soft material, but I like it! You are able to just barely see dark undergarments through the white. Again, not something that bothers me or will prevent me from using it for the costume I want.
I usually wear a Torrid size 2 for tops and dresses, but seeing as this was a thinner, very elastic material, I bought it in size 1 and am glad I did. It fits exactly how I want it to. Excited to pair it with some vampire fangs and have an easy, cute, and gore-y Halloween costume.
I also used a gift card to purchase this, so I was less concerned about the price.
