Must have!
Love these boots! They do have an ankle/lower claf zipper to help get into them - I can't notice it in the pictures. I am 5'7" with a regular/sometimes tall inseam and they come well over my knee. They are fitted (a little loose around the knee for me) and very comfortable. Must have for the fall!

Ooo La La - This Material
I LOVE these!!! Why the 4 stars? Well first and foremost I bought a pair of boots in this same stretch knit material from Torrid, but they were stilettos, and baby… they hurt something fierce after standing them for less than an hour. So while my luscious legs love the material and the look of those boots, my feet hated the heels! So when I saw these boots with the SAME material, AND a lower block heel, AND more spacious toe box… I snatched them right away. For reference here’s my measurements - ankles (10”) calves (20”), and since these go to my lower thigh (24”). I normally purchase Torrid shoes in an 8ww. I had no issue sliding these in or zipping them up and the material doesn’t pinch or feel constricting. This is why I love this material for wide width boots! Now I agree with the other reviewer, I had some slight bunching in the ankle area, but for me it wasn’t unsightly or too exaggerated for them to look ill fitting. The reason I knocked off a star is because while the design change in the heel and toe box are plusses for comfort, this shoe severely lacks in any kind of padding for the ball of the foot. It’s nothing an insert can’t fix though. I still love them and will keep them. Let’s be honest, true wide width boots are hard to find at this price point. I’m just waiting to see how they hold up when I’ve worn them for an extended period of time.

Just okay
These shoes are made beautifully, don’t get me wrong, but like another reviewer said they fall down after taking a few steps. Which is annoying when they are wearing thigh-high boots. I’ve always wanted over the knee boots and hoped these would be the ones but I was wrong. So, while they’re cute and well made, they are going back to the store

Nice quality.
This is a beautifully made OTK boot, however the boots aren't made to stay up over the knee as soon you take a couple of the steps the boots slide down. I was really impressed with how well this boot was made. I loved the material and was praying that these fit. The last couple of otk boots I've bought from torrid weren't worth the money as they fit the same way. These slide down and are made of stretch knit material so you'd think they'll stay up. Nope I won't recommend and I'll be returning these asap.

Too big in the calf :-(
I really want to be fair and objective in this review but I am disappointed. The boots were not what I expected at all. They are made of a thick sweater-like material that is similar to my Skechers Slip-Ons that I wear for work. I’ll list the pros: 1) Material is comfortable and will keep you warm; 2) The block heel is sturdy and stable so you won’t have any issues wearing them for a while; 3) Plenty of room in the toe - no pinching and comfortable footbed. Also, the footbed is TTS.
The biggest con is: too much material in the leg. I ordered the smaller of the two calf sizes and I was still left with a 2-3 inch gap all around my leg. This made me look knock-kneed. And the material bunched in a weird way that made me look like my leg was broken. If you have thick legs then these boots are for you but, I’m really bummed as I wasted my B-day reward on these and I’ll have to return them. I would’ve included a photo but I have already re-wrapped the package for return.

I really wanted to love these because my legs are always to thick for regular boots. I tried them on and they fit like a glove until I looked in the mirror and noticed one is longer than the other. I took them off and sure enough they one is off for about two inches.
