Long Journey Destination Not Reached
I bought this dress in a size 2. While the order was in the process of being completed, I was the victim of identity theft, so had to shut down all forms of payment. So the order for this dress in a size 2 was never completed. When I was calling to straighten all of this out with Torrid, found out the size 2 was no longer available, so I ordered a size 1. It arrived--and too small. so went to the store to return it. They told me another store 20 miles away might have it but when they called that store, they couldn't locate it. So I went back home and ordered a 3. it arrived---too big. So went back to the store to return it. That's when I found out that since I used a $20 reward to buy it, that award was basically lost and couldn't be returned to me--the only credit I got was for the difference between the reward and the purchase price ($8). But the tore manager was nice enough to give me that $20 reward back if I bought something in the store that day--which I did. Point of all of this is--that's how much I loved this dress; enough to keep chasing it around like I did. It is a good quality material--not to clingy and not too thin-- a nice weight. And what it does for the curves is fantastic. I did manage to find a used size 2 in a long sleeved version on a resale website--and that should be coming soon.

Beautiful dress!
I was looking for new formal-wear in general but hadn't found much yet that I could use...until I started browsing on Torrid's site :) I decided to look at other reviews when I found this dress and they were right when they indicated that this dress was a good fit and so lovely. I tried it on as soon as it arrived and it fit like a glove! No need to order outside of your regular size. It is beautiful and I will be wearing it to upcoming special occasions .
