Lovely classic coat
I’ve not had great luck in coats this year. This was the third one I’ve bought and finally a winner. I’m a size 4, with an F chest. This means that coats almost always have to be sized up, often two sizes. This coat fits me beautifully in 5. It nips in at my waist with the tie, and the fact that it’s stretchy means that as I move around the chest still feels comfortable. The coat is a perfect length, hitting a few inches above my knees (I’m 5’6”) and for once the sleeves are the right length! I don’t know the last time I bought a coat and didn’t have to take the sleeves up. The black fabric has very faint striations that are attractive and add texture. My only complaint is that it’s quite a light coat, and won’t be enough in winter, though I’m sure layering will help.

Super flattering and comfy!
I'd been looking for a suitable trenchcoat for YEARS and finally found the perfect one! It fits beautifully and is so comfortable. I'm 5'4 and a size 16 so it's hard finding one that flatters my body shape and size, fits well (even in the arms, which are usually a problem for me), and rests at a flattering length without making it look like I'm three kids in a trenchcoat. I love it and I'm so excited to have finally found the trenchcoat of my dreams.

Before I say anything else... SIZE THE HECK UP. I guess if you're more on the slimmer side you might not have to based on some of these earlier reviews I've seen but for God's sake if you're a size 4 in Torrid Tee Shirts then please, size. The. Heck. Up. You're gonna thank me, I swear. I almost, aaaalmost didn't fit mine in the more upper body area. Sizing up, it did happen to fit just.... Enough.... And so, as it is... It's perfect! I'm wide around the stomach as I'm rather chunky and I personally don't like to wear things that fall off my waist and stomach in such a way that it kind of draws attention to that area, but this coat did remarkably well at actually complimenting my...wide body type. It's literally going to be the only thing I own that fits like this... But that's totally OK. Just saying this because if you're anything like me, you may still want to consider giving this coat a try despite your possible reservations. I also don't wear very feminine clothes, which makes this a special addition to my wardrobe... So again, if you're like me, I'd consider this item still! It's incredibly well made with a semi thin fabric that still allows some airflow so you don't get too hot. However, besides sizing up, this coat is a little bit on the heavy side as well... It's not unbelievably heavy at all but you can definitely tell you're wearing a trench coat when you put it on. Super casual, super business casual, super seasonal, super fashion forward. There's little at all to dislike about this coat when it really comes down to it. I definitely highly suggest it, just be thoughtful about the size!

Amazing Coat! Must have!!
I am a 5x and it fits amazing, has stretch but fits comfortably. Long and warm for fall and for early winter. It is sturdy sweater-like material but wears nicely. I bought last season and wearing this season too. WORTH every penny. When your a 5x sometimes it can be hard to button/zip jackets - this one hugs me in the right places and i don't feel like a potato sack.

Great coat
I normally wear a 1 but I like a little wiggle room in my arm area so I tried a size 2 and it was perfect. Love this coat cant wait to use it.

Love this coat!
I went out today specifically looking for this coat because I was concerned about the sizing. I'm 5'8'' 250lbs and I normally wear a size 2 but happen to have broad shoulders which is where my concerns were (I ended up buying this in a size 3). This coat is amazing. If you are like me and have broader shoulders though you may want to consider going up a size just so you don't feed like your range of arm motions is too restricted (my main test was sticking my arms out like I'm driving since I don't anticipate having to put my arms up in the air while I'm wearing this).

Perfect California Trench...
Only downside I can see about this coat is that it won't be great for a true cold climate. It's similar to hoodie material. So comfy though! Really flattering and true to size!

Ok I LOVE THIS!
Wow! I literally just ordered this a couple days ago. Received it the same week, it was shipped through ontrac, thank you so so much!!
This trench coat is not too thick. It's nice. It feels like the material they make stretch pants out of.. which isn't a bad thing because I forms to you, I ordered a size three it fits just right! It's long too! I'm 5'8 the bottom of the coat is just above my knees just like the photo. How freaking cute! Torrid, I'm totally ordering more things. I'm so happy with my new boots and this coat. Hopefully the rest of my orders are delivered through OnTrac

Lovely trench
I tried it on tonight. Very lovely trench. I wear a 1 in Torrid shirts. I tried on a 1 and it fit fine. I suggest purchasing your true Torrid size. I wear a 46 D bra, 16 pants. The 1 fit perfect, a 2 would work also.

Great fit
This trench coat is so cute! I wear a size 3 across the board with torrid and was hesitant about buying a size 3 in coats because the fit can be kind of snug...however I'm glad I ordered a size 3 because the fit is perfect. No need to size up ladies..more than enough room
