Not ‘sexy’ but fun!
Fell in love with this dress in store today! It is more muumuu/ lagenlook-y but it is FUN!
This isn’t a dress I’d day I feel ‘sexy’ in, but it absolutely IS a dress I could spend a day thrifting & picking up puppies in!

I like this dress. I feel more comfortable in flowing dresses especially the ones that aren’t form fitted at the top. I am 55 and I used to love form fitting busts but not any Moore as now they make me feel self conscious. I don’t see many loose fitting dress like this that I like. When I find one I like I usually buy several of them!

I’m on vacation in gulf shores, Alabama and decided to buy this for the beach. I sized down so it wasnt as moomoo-ish. Lol I actually think I sized down two sizes, I’ll have to double check, so it’s more fitted on top which I think helps with a shape. I think I could probably belt it make it look cute.
I’m giving 4 stars because I’m not sure what torrid was thinking with this line. Big girls don’t want mumu dresses. Not to mention I’ve always felt like torrid was younger, a little more hip or with the current fashion. But this line feels like something my mom would wear, she’s 72! Except even my mom has more fashion sense. lol I told my husband it looks like this line was made for Emily Gilmore now that she’s retired to Nantucket. lol
Anyway, all I can say is that maybe with a little effort and sizing down 2 I can make this look less old rich white lady ish. I do love the stripes. I love the thin breathable flowy fabric. I think it will be wonderful to wear on the beach. And if I ever visit Nantucket I’ll fit right in.
