Lace pencil skirt
Very sexy dressy classy look in a skirt it fits perfect I have not found the idea top I want to wear with it so it flatters the skirt but does not take away from it and not to plain because I think it is a dressy skirt

Absolutely love this skirt!! I’m between a 14/16 so I went with the 16 but could have bought the 14! So many compliments!! The only thing I wish it had is a control tummy as that’s my problem area.

Lace yourself up in this!
I have been trying to get this forever! I finally got it, and I'm in love! It is so beautiful and so comfortable. I have every single one of Torrid's pencil skirts, lol! I might be addicted 😬. But they look amazing on everyone and they are so comfortable and go with EVERY kind of top, and shoe! Need I say more? Go, run and grab it!

I purchase this skirt quickly in size 22, because I had been watching for quite awhile for this skirt in Black.I normally purchase a 3X Torrid spandex and lace skirts. This skirt came in sizes so order a size22 and it was a little loose only because I have been losing weight. I have it in red and whenever I wear it I get looks from men and women. This is a very stylish and great fitting sexy skirt. That can be dressed up or down. I will pair it with red boots and a see thru black sexy blouse for a valentine date hopefully LOL.

Pretty skirt
I thought this would be a ponte skirt with lace over. I didn’t read the details. It is a lace skirt with a thin satin lining. The lace and satin have a little stretch to them. The waistband is stretchy. It has a zipper in the back. I still like the skirt very much. I ordered to wear at work on NYE so I got an 18 to be sure it fit and wasn’t too snug. I could have got my regular size 16 and been fine, but this will work.

I love pencil skirts and am excited whenever there is a new style at Torrid. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a proper fitted pencil skirt with a zipper closure on this site, so when I saw this I decided it was a must have. Material is wonderful to look at - pretty black lace over a black satin-like liner. Sizing is good - I am apple shaped and my waist would put me at a size 18, but my hips are narrower and in the size 16 range. I typically wear a size 1 in Torrid skirts so ordered a 16 to not be boxy in the hips and rear. Waist fits perfectly - a little gap at the top of the zipper when I’m zipping up, but no problem getting the zipper closed and the waist is comfortable. Waistband stays in place and rolls a little but not horrible.
I will wear this skirt a lot since the fabric is so beautiful and interesting, but there are two things that keep it from being 5 star. First is it is boxy for a pencil skirt - even though I sized a little smaller to fit my hips, the back just sort of hangs down over my relatively small bum, which is not the look I’m going for in a pencil skirt. Second is the inner liner - it is attached to the lace only at the waistband and otherwise hangs free. I’ve tried the skirt on with both Spanx higher power shorts and opaque tights, and in both cases the inner liner clings to the shorts/tights so I have to rearrange the liner every time I stand up to get it to hang right. Not a problem with bare legs, but a bummer since the skirt looks amazing with black tights and would be an amazing early spring outfit when you still need tights to stay warm.

Difficult zipper, cute
Returning. My immediate impression was that the lace felt cheap in my hand. Overall the fit was okay. The legnth and cut is flattering, but with zero tummy control I didn't like the look of it overall. The reason I decided to return it was due to the difficult hook and zipper. I could not put this on or take it off without help. When he finally got the hook through the loop, he tried for several minutes and couldn't get the zipper to zip up correctly. Eventually it came up partway but I don't want to fight with it or call for help.
