Not too heavy!
I bought this at the end of fall because I just love this color. It's plenty big in all the right ways. It's not for the depths of frigid winter here in Kansas, but it's good for cold fall/spring days. Or warmer winter days. Happy with it!

Great length!
I needed a coat that was comfortable to drive in. This is the perfect length. It's unlined, and medium weight. I bought a size 4 and have room for extra
layers underneath. I wish there was a button up to so ii was able to close and protect the neck and chest area, but that's no the design. I wear a scarf in that area, which was needed with the unusual cold snap we had

Get so many compliments
It’s not lined but it’s got a flattering drape and cut. It keeps the winter chill of me perfectly but it is west coast mild climate here. Your mileage may vary in the Midwest. It’s perfect for several degrees below freezing though.

Blazer Style Coat
I bought this coat on a whim. And I love it.
As the first reviewer said, it is 100% polyester. It has no lining, no shoulder pads. It is dry clean only and the material does look like wool on the outside, knit inside. The bottom patch pocket is two pockets, with a hidden seam pocket underneath it. So you have four total pockets instead of three.
I ordered this coat in a size 2 because of broad shoulders, long torso, and long arms. It is oversized on me. But it fits nicely in all those areas. It is a straight cut shape coat similar to a blazer. There is plenty of room in the torso for me to wear a lot of clothing/chunky scarf, etc. I could have gotten a size 1 but I wanted to go with the size 2 for more space. And due to the straight cut of the coat, a size smaller might give less room for the hip area. (in comparison: i am a size 1 if buying the peplum short peacoat. macys coats: xxl misses wool type coats.) (in torrid tops i buy size 2 due to shoulders/arms and for a looser fit in torso.)
Overall, this coat is great and will be used this winter. It does fit the oversized clothing trend and has some military uniform vibes.
