Best shorts!
This shorts are great. They fit perfectly and the color is beautiful. I wish there were more colors because I would buy them all. These are very apple shape friendly and a good amount of stretch

I have a strange relationship with Torrid denim, but these shorts.....I absolutely love! They are lightweight and fitting but not tight which is different from the jeans I have of the same size. I thought I'd try 5 inch and the length did not disappoint. They aren't strangling my goodies, but they aren't bermudas and don't get loose at the bottom. I have to pay attention, because I didn't know they'd come with studs on the sides, but they aren't huge and don't change how I feel about them. I bought them to wear with a white button down and a cute sandal. Can't wait to wear!

True review of the shorts
First off these ARE a Light Wash just as advertised!
They are buttery soft with a slightly wide leg opening, perfect for those summer days when you want air and clothes that don't stick to you. They are also the perfect length for summer shorts, long enough so your legs won't rub but short enough to be cool. These shorts will be absolutely perfect for hot summer days.

I purchased these last year and I put them in the washer and now the material on the bottom is nothing but strings so I have to cut it so that it looks decent. I’m beginning to think these clothes are made with cheap material

Unfortunately, disappoint
Unfortunately, I feel like things that work online are not the quality that the store has. I re-ordered online the exact same pair of shorts and they are much thinner. The other thing is size wise. I feel like they run a little bit larger with things they have on sale and it may be because they’re not true they don’t sell in the store as well.

I bought these shorts for my daughter in law for her birthday. They were too big for her. Also, as stated from other customers, the shorts are not as the ones pictured. The shorts are darker when they came in. I will keep them and find her another pair. They seemed to run a little big.

These shorts look nothing like the product photos IMO.
The material reminds me of Ross quality shorts.
The wash is more medium than light.
The stitching looks different than the photos.
I will be returning but the return value is like $10 less than what I paid plus a $6 shipping fee.
I usually love torrid jeans/ shorts but these missed.
If I were you, I wouldn’t get these.
